Nepomuceno was born at Bexar, Texas, in the year 1811. Service record 4223. In the fall of 1835 he became a member of the volunteer company organized by his brother-in-law Juan N. Seguin. He served

as corporal in Juan N. Seguin's Company from January 1st, 1836 to October 11 of the same year, and as first lieutenant from October 14, 1836, to October 14, 1837. He took part in the storming of Bexar in December 1835. His father was José Flores de Abrego, and he was a brother of Captain Manuel Flores. He served at San Jacinto. He was a brother of Colonel Juan N. Seguin's wife. Died December 2, 1878.

 

He was a participant in the Texas Revolution and fought in the battle of San Jacinto.

Founder of Graytown, Wilson County, Texas. A merchant and a participant in the battle of San Jacinto. He fought in William Warner Hill's company at San Jacinto. In 1850 he was living in San Antonio, where he was a tinsmith, and by 1860, he was a merchant in San Antonio, Texas. He married Dona Simona Fernandez Seguín, the step-daughter (possibly adopted) of Don Mariano Seguín, (grantee of the Mariano Seguin grant) and on property that she inherited, he developed the town of Graytown.

He and his wife are listed on the 1880 USA Census, Precinct 1, Wilson County, Texas.

Gray died at Floresville on September 12, 1884, and was buried in the city cemetery there.
